Hermes

Changelog

New features and improvements in Hermes.

New

WordPress plugin

Validate email addresses in your WordPress forms without writing a single line of code. Download it in your dashboard under Integrations, paste your API key, done.

  • Works with Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Elementor Pro Forms and Ninja Forms.
  • Rejects invalid, undeliverable and disposable addresses with an error right at the email field.
  • Optional rules for SMTP mailbox checks, role addresses, high-risk domains and typo suggestions ("Did you mean …?").
  • Forms never break: if Hermes cannot be reached or your limit is reached, submissions are accepted as usual.
  • Results are cached, so the same address only uses one validation per week.
  • Error messages can be customized and ship in English and German.
  • New Integrations page in the dashboard with the download and a four-step setup guide.
Improved

Dashboard on mobile

The dashboard now works as well on your phone as on your desktop.

  • New mobile navigation for all dashboard pages.
  • API keys get a fun name like "flauschig-igel-4821" when you leave the name empty.
New

Two-factor authentication and passkeys

Protect your account and your API keys with a second factor.

  • Two-factor authentication with any authenticator app, including recovery codes.
  • Sign in with a passkey instead of a password.
  • Dark mode for the website and the dashboard.
New

New dashboard and Batch API

Everything you need to manage your validations, in one place.

  • Overview, validation log and 30-day statistics per API key.
  • Rename API keys at any time.
  • Batch API: validate up to 100 addresses in one request (Pro plan).
